About Us

Eastside Early Learning Center (EELC) has been a trusted early childhood education provider for 45 years, proudly serving families in Providence and surrounding communities. We offer a rigorous, developmentally appropriate curriculum designed to nurture and inspire children from 6 weeks to 5 years of age.

With a licensed capacity of just 44 children, EELC provides a warm, close-knit environment where children and their families form lasting connections. Our intimate setting fosters a sense of community, allowing each child to thrive in a safe, supportive, and engaging atmosphere.

Originally established in 1980 as The Child Care Center, EELC began as a childcare and preschool program for Butler Hospital employees. Over the years, we expanded our mission to welcome families from across the region, becoming a cornerstone of early learning in Providence.
